Happy Birthday Melissa! I wanted to give you a sneak peak of your big day on your first birthday as a wife!!!

From the start I remember thinking that Melissa and Trey had such a beautiful group of friends. The bridesmaids were all so polite wearing pearls and smiles. Little did I know that later in the night they would all break through their shells and just go insane on the dance floor. We had so much fun with this group, they were all crazy fun! There were a few moments in the night when I turned around to notice the groomsmen ganging up on my photographers and trying to dance with them while they were working hard. I don’t think editing has ever been this fun.

Back to a more serious note, I just love Melissa and Trey. Just being around Melissa always makes me smile. She is very lively and passionate, but also with a carefree attitude. It is a strange mixture, but a great one. I was a bit sad when the night was over, honestly because I just love hanging out with them. Not only were my muscles sore the next morning (with the equipment, I am always a little sore on Sundays) but my stomach was sore from laughing so hard. Thank you guys for an amazing night!

I finally got to spend a Saturday with the family and the fourth of July no less!  I remember when Brittany called to tell me she was getting married on the 4th of July, I said back, “kind of ironic to get married on independance day”.  Brittany is my sister and her wedding couldn’t have been more perfect.  The holiday helped Brittany and Graham start their life together with a bang.

It was the first time for me to be both a bridesmaid and the photographer (well I did shoot my own wedding) but my awesome team made it quite easy.  I can say after, well growing up with Brittany, that she had the wedding of her dreams.  Even as a kid she had a dream of one day getting married at the beach with all eyes on her.  She looked radient and just so darn happy that she did have all eyes on her.  My sister has always been the more emotional one, so I thought it was crazy that Graham was the first to tear up.   Graham went to high school with me and Brittany (he was a bit of a jokester always with a smile and a story).  I never picked him as the crying type.  When he said his vows just a little tear formed and never left his eye.  I had to post the picture, just in case you guys at the wedding missed it!  Hey what are sisters for?

I wish you guys the best and look forward to spending many more holidays with the two of you!  Welcome to the family!

I loved Sydney and Ben’s wedding!  Sydney and Ben have some of the biggest smiles I have ever seen, and they were both hardly without them.  Sydney face would light up with a big smile and the occasional excited yell every time she looked at Ben.  Not only was she one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen, but she was truly lit up every time Ben was around.

I knew it was going to be an extraordinary wedding from the start of the day.  The day started with an acrobatic flight stunt show.  Ben is a pilot and very passionate about being in flight.  There were a few small hot rod planes that would twist, turn and pull out of dives.   It was quite remarkable.  Ben even got on the little red plane to experience some stunts before his wedding day (the red plane was the craziest).   After the show we made it over to the Rebault club and wow everyone had outdone themselves.  The wedding took place under a huge tree in a field.  The catering was crazy good with a southern station, salad station, carving station, sushi station, oh and quesadillas outside.  My favorite was of course the shrimp and grits!  Great job to the Chef’s Garden Catering (http://www.cateringjacksonville.com/).   There were lanterns, a cigar roller, a photo booth and well pretty much anything you can think of.  They went all out and it was a blast!

The band was just awesome.  It was hard to see the checkered dance floor because it was so full.   Everyone had an amazing time (including us).   Definitely a wedding to remember!

I love Leslie and Bill!  I met Bill around 10 years ago at Georgia Tech and we became friends pretty quickly.  Bill is lots of fun and always happy, and he giggles.  I have kept up with Bill since Tech and I can truly say that I have never seen him happier then when Leslie is around!  I remember when Bill called me and told me he was going to propose, I was thrilled!

The wedding was amazing, proving that you don’t need a “million dollars” to have a dream wedding.  The emotions, smiles, bubbles, and giggles were so abundant that I was also brought to tears.   When going through the images I noticed something strange.  Thu had taken some pictures of Bill’s face when Leslie walked down the aisle and for the first time I noticed that he wasn’t looking at his bride.  He was looking left then right, then up then down anywhere but at Leslie.  I found this odd until I realized why.  Right when Bill’s eyes hit Leslie as she approached the alter he burst into tears (I am talking Niagara Falls tears).  He was trying to avoid contact in order to keep from crying.   It was so sweet!  In all the wedding I have been to I have never seen a groom cry as much.  He was just so happy.

They did their first dance to “If I had a Million Dollars”.   Even though as I said earlier that they proved to me that you really don’t need it.  I do think one of my other favorite moments is when the guests filled the sky with bubbles for their last song.  Unbelievable guys, thank you!
