Wow, what a wedding!  We had so much fun traveling down to St Simons to spend the weekend with Collier and Bo.  The Daniels not only showed us a great time, but they made us feel truly like we were part of the family!  It has been a real pleasure watching the Daniels family multiply since the family shoot about a year ago.  Thank you for making us feel so special!

The wedding day went just perfect.  The church had its own style and it was probably the most beautiful church I have seen.  It has a very costal Georgia feel set amongst trees covered in Spanish moss.   Collier showed up just glowing in her lacy dress with bright pink shoes.   It was memorable.  We took the trolley from the church to the reception site. Mr. Daniels was spot on when he said that there would be an awesome band.  Everyone was on the dance floor (and sometimes the stage).  We had so much fun.  All the love, smiles, tears, awesome music and hugs it was hard not to have an awesome time!  I look forward to keeping up with my new friends!

I just love Gretchen and Jacob! We actually meet at a Starbucks. I had a meeting with Becky and her parents (see two posts below) to talk about wedding photography. When I finished the meeting this couple at the table behind me said something along the lines of “we couldn’t help but overhear, but we are also looking for a wedding photographer”.

I was excited once Gretchen and Jacob told me about their lives together and their upcoming wedding. A couple days before the ceremony they were both ordained ministers with the Salvation Army. They both new right after the ceremony that they would be sent together somewhere new to live. I was so happy to hear that they are moving to Virginia!!!

The ceremony was one of the most amazing ceremonies I have seen. They have so many people that care for them and wanted to give their part to the wedding. There was a 15 piece orchestra, a hand composed musical piece that fit the couples personality, a dance, feet washing, candles everywhere, Jacobs ginourmous smile, as well as a rather funny song. It was the most fun I have ever had at a ceremony. The reception had its highlights as well with a full cake/face smashing and a ginger-ale toast!

I am really excited to hear about Gretchen and Jacob’s life together, they are going to accomplish great things!

Katherine and Charlie had an amazing wedding. They are both very passionate about the outdoors so they choose a perfect place to be married. Katherine and Charlie are both very driven, intelligent, and successful people and then after their days jobs they go spend their weekend hanging from cliffs. My type of couple! Charlie even proposed while they were on top of a cliff after a day of rock climbing.

It was a perfect day without a sign of rain (finally). The ceremony took place on a balcony overlooking a massive vineyard while the sun was setting in the distance. The reception floor went nuts after “Devil went down the Georgia”. Everyone had such a great time (including me). I don’t think the smile ever left Charlie (or Katherine’s) face.
